This is the full length trip report with natural sounds and on-trail commentary from a 3-day backpacking adventure that Joey and I took to Virginia's Shenand. The grade of the trail is generally quite steep, and can often lead to strenuous hiking. Bring some sandals! The cabin is cool if you feel like taking this weird detour to stay on the redline according to the hike. There were so many giant spider webs and overgrown areas. This trail is great for backpacking, camping, and hiking. There were a few river crossings, and one we had to slosh through (not enough rocks to step on).
